Zaara Kohime from Zaara Indian Couture released a really adorable outfit the other day, and I just had to go out and buy it. :D

It comes with the top, undershirt, and pants - I didn't wear shoes with this because it looks so much summery and cuter without any. ^^ I love the uneven shirt, and the patterns on the top. However, I think I have an issue with the prim pant bottoms. They appear to be No Copy/No Mod - which boggles my mind. The other prims are copy/mod, so I don't really understand why I can't edit the pant prims to fit me better. One side of the pants is considerably higher than the other... and I tell you, it's driving me nuts looking at it XD

But, aside from the pants prims, this outfit is totally adorable, and I love it very much. It seems Zaara Indian Couture is becoming one of my favorite places to shop - her stuff is just so cute, original, and the texturing on everything is absolutely amazing ^^

Hiiiii! Well, after my frustrations to find something great to blog about, I have come back with some inspiration in the form of Armidi's new release. I know, I know, people don't like to read about new releases that has been done over and over... but hey - I like them. :D

Now, I usually don't like baby doll dresses - my AO always makes them look funky and strange. But, I love the Armidi quality and the amazing textures that are used in this dress. These did come with a total of 3 skirt prim options - one flexi skirt, as well as 2 scuplted prim options. I only pictured the flexi skirt because until scuplted prims can move and flex with the way I walk - I probably won't wear them XD

I know, I've been missing these past couple days, but there honestly hasn't been anything that I just *had* to buy lately. But, I did find something for the men out there - and brought in my alt, Nuai to do some hawt swimwear modeling for me. :D

Don't want to be a neko or an elf? Be a panda!! OMG, I seen the most adorable ears at Atomic Kitty - Panda ears and matching tail! All I could think was: zomg. I love my elf ears, but I couldn't resist panda ears. to wear for the day. ^^

Aren't they the cutest things ever? XD The ears (as well as the tail!) twitches randomly, so they look semi-real like the neko parts do. :D Though, I noticed with this, I did get a few IMs, asking me what I was supposed to be. I guess because I didn't have a panda skin on, I looked a bit like a normal grizzly bear or something. O.o;;

But I knew what I was, so I knew I was still cute :P

I recently found out that Kin was still making hair! I remember a long time ago, she couldn't get in to SL or something? But, now I guess she is back (well, back to me at least!), and her hair is even better than ever!

I love love love love the hair on the left. It looks so windblown and crazy (kinda like how my RL hair looks after a jetski ride) XD I've been wearing this hair for about 3 days now, and I can't see myself taking it off any time soon. The hair on the right... is a bit more mellow (:P) and easier to handle. The bangs appear to be on a sculpted prim, and the bottom is a tad bit distorted looking, but nothing I can't handle. I an not entirely sure how you *can't* make it distorted looking - the joys of sculpties, I guess. But hey! It's still cute! */me goes to a corner to huggle all her Kin hairs*

After uninstalling and reinstalling SL (due to a support ticket suggestion the Lindens gave me), I have lost all my windlight settings. I have tried to recreate my favorite blogging setting and I documented it on my more personal blog. So, if you are interested in using my windlight setting, you can now view the settings here. (Note that link is too my non-fashion related blog - and I rant about all kinds of things there) :D

But anyway, its getting really hot here in California, and I am hunting down summery things in my inventory. I was so excited to see this outfit in my "To Be Sorted" folder. :D

This is just the type of outfit I would love to have in my real life. I love how flow-y it is, and makes me want to go run around barefoot in a meadow. ^^ Normally, I dislike the "exposed mid-driff syndrome" thing, but I think it works well with this outfit. It shows a bit of belly, which makes it look more summery to me. :D And zomg - even the sleeves are flexi! (They did take a bit of editing to fit my arms - but it wasn't too bad) :D

I couldn't sleep at all last night, so I changed the blog header. I was never happy with the previous one - I didn't think it portrayed me as I wanted it to. So, I spent last night making my silly pose to use, and making the header. I think the pose pretty much says it all now - People usually know me for the elf ears now, so I wanted my header to reflect that.... because I love them too :D I think I really like this one - it's pink, has sakura on it, focuses on my ears, and is a bit silly. ^^

But anyway, this post is on something I've had in my inventory for a while now, but just now got to it. Sorry! Its a bit late now, and the season for these is over - but, its SL! Who needs seasons?! :D

So, here we have the beautiful scarves from Yabusaka. These are entirely sculpted, with the same artistic quality of the Yabusaka jewelry that I constantly fangirl over. Since these are sculpted - they can not be flexi, which I love with scarves. But Yabusaka has taken this into consideration and scripted them so they move a bit. They are scripted probably the best they can be - but I wait for the day someone creates a script that actually enables flexi on sculpted prims. XD

Until that happens, these are cute (with interesting patterns XD), fit the neck well, and are a big sculpted-flexi step forward :D If you don't like the patterns shown, don't worry! There are several pattern choices available - and even has a basic color change set too :D

Ok, here I am trying again with a different windlight setting. This one is based on Caliah's settings, I just made things a bit brighter, because her's is a tad too dark for me. Its definitely not as bright as last post, but its an improvement. :D I am trying to have a tad bit of originality, while still maintaining the balance of not washing out detail of the clothes I am wearing - which appears to be much harder than it seems XD Any thoughts on this setting would be greatly appreciated. :D This setting seems much softer, and I think I actually really like this one. ^^

Anyway, my post today is on the recent release from the awesome BareRose. Gah~ I love BareRose so much - so when I got the group notice that they released a new jewelry set, I tore myself away from the Illusions lucky chair (omg - I swear that chair hates me!), and went to grab it. :D

The BareRose quality is not sacrificed even in their jewelry sets, thats for sure. It never ceases to amaze me of how low June Dion prices her items. Seriously. This comes with a tiara, necklace, ring, bangles for both arms, and earrings. I only pictured the tiara, necklace and one of the bracelets, but you can be assured the rest are just as amazing :D

Ok, a warning: I am testing another windlight setting out with this post, but I have a question for you readers. When looking at blog pictures, do you prefer standard SL lighting on avatars? Or custom, interesting presets? Ok, wow, that doesn't make much sense. But, lately I have been using Caliah's windlight presets (which looks very normal) for this blog's pictures, and my own settings (... which is slightly bluish and very bright) for viewing everything else. So, I would love your input on what you prefer to see on my blog here. Caliah's setting as seen in my last post, or my settings that can be found in this post. :D (and if someone wants - I could make a special page for my 2 personal windlight settings)

Anyway. On to the post! I've been hoarding loads of stuff from the awesome Petit Ange. When the creator behind this cute store dropped some shoes on me the other day, I was motivated to take pictures of everything and do a post on it. :D

These are the Polka Dots dresses, and they are omg cute! I love them, the colors, the pattern, and the amount of cleavage it shows. :D I love them, but I'm not too sure about how I feel about the transparency. I very rarely wear things with so much transparency that the outlines of my legs show.


Which brings me to the next dresses... these have no transparency, which makes a finicky elf very happy. :D Which is cool as well - these have 3 different skirt options, though I only pictured one (which was my favorite). They have this fluffy skirt, a miniskirt complete with a single prim, as well as system skirt option.


And finally.... the shoes! These come in quite a few color combinations, and have several sculpted parts. They are very cute. I actually wore the brown and gold sandals with the brown check dress pictured above yesterday :D

Ok, so I am sorry for my lack of blogging lately! OMG, I recently found out that Final Fantasy: Crisis Core has come out here in the United States - so I had to purchase a PSP and all the stuff, so I can play it XD So, I've been totally PSP obsessed the past few days :P But, I have come back (a bit late!) to write this post on an amazing item at the Fashion Expo 2008. This dress was actually the reason I decided to go to it - its just that beautiful. :D

I have been watching Zaara's Indian Couture for a while on the feeds. I loved the way the clothes looked, but the one particular dress I adored looked like it attached to a pec, and my shape doesn't like that too much - and it bothers me to see my butt and hips jutting out when I move. But, that particular dress was in a special recolor for the RFL Fashion Expo. I decided to give it a try, knowing my money went to a great cause anyway :D

While I occasionally see my hips jut out with my AO, its definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. It is poofy enough that my butt does come out the back, and it covers my AO moves pretty well. So, I love it and will definitely be going back for more colors :D

And I should definitely say something about the textures. OMG. Really, the pictures speak for themselves - they are utterly amazing. ^^Its obvious that the creator loves making clothes and spends quite a bit of time working on her pieces. :D

Hurry and get this though, I hear the expo ends today - and I don't think this adorable dress will be available afterwards. :D

Shop Seu. A few weeks ago, I would have said "WTF is that?" But now - omg. I can't get enough of their hairs. :D

I am still a little iffy on the hair textures though, they take a bit getting used to mainly because they are so different than my favorite Truth and ETD hairstyles. But, I am coming around to them. I have pictured here, FasaFasa on the left and the Sexy Hair on the right. I couldn't really get the FasaFasa hair to fit my fat head very well... it looks about 67 sizes too big :P , but I was pleased with how the Sexy Hair fit my shape (after a little modding, of course).

I actually am really beginning to love this type of hair style, so much so that I've been going to Shop Seu everyday.... waiting for them to release more stuff! XD

PixelDolls is becoming one of my most favorite places for shirts. I've really never been a fan of their skirts, mainly because I am never able to get them to look right on my shape. But, I am loving their shirts lately. Especially their latest shirts.

I love these. I love the amount of bewbage it shows (because lately, I can't seem to get enough of cleavage-showing outfits XD ), and the amazing texturing. I originally went to pick up the black one, but once I saw the pink, I couldn't pass it up. So, I came home with both colors XD

Ok, so now that I am equipped with a much, much more powerful graphics card, I am finally able to run windlight. I am still in the "OMG! SKIES!" mode, while attempting to make avatars look somewhat decent. So, I will be changing settings and experimenting with certain things, probably for the next few weeks.

And yes, I am aware my ears don't match my skin anymore - that is another thing I am trying to fix. XD

But what my post today is about.... are these awesome little sundresses by Iki's Dutch Touch. These were one of the things that I saw and immediately tp'ed to get them. They are sooooo cute, and omg - The bewbage! :D


I loved them so much, I even talked myself into buying a second color, white. These were quite big on my shape, but a quick shrink fixed all that :D
